An R3 Summit is not an organization, or an attempt to establish one. It is rather a gathering at a time and place where heart-burdened people may express in prayer and proclamation a longing to see the church awakened in these last days and brought back to holiness, purity, and power with God. The main thrust of the participants is toward an “Apostolic” vision of the Church of God found in Holy Scriptures. This Biblically balanced Christianity is desperately needed in contrast to superficial, commercial, cultural Christianity prominent in our day. The desire for spiritual awakening is that it will “RESTORE to (us) the years that the locust has eaten” (Joel 2:25), the essential reality of the church as Jesus Christ and the apostles intended it to be; that it will “RENEW the minds that we may prove what is the good, and acceptable, and perfect will of God” (Romans 12:2); and that it will “REVIVE us again, that Thy people may rejoice in Thee” (Psalm 85:6).
