Like the proverbial Frog in the Kettle, it is easy for pastors and laity alike to become so engrossed in the work of ministry and "doing church" that we often give little attention to our foundational beliefs. Call it what you will, whether it be apathy or a lack of passion for the faith of our fathers, the relentless erosion of our spiritual heritage continues. Though We Were Frogs gives particular attention to the heritage and history of The Missionary Church in which I am ordained, it is our prayer that We Were Frogs will embolden pastors and laity who are likeminded, to join together to restore, renew and revive the message of Scriptural holiness in our churches and to our nation. ~Bill McPhail
